Old Forester 150th Anniversary Batch Proof 02/03 is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Louisville, in a 75cl bottle. It is the second of three batch proof releases marking 150 years of Old Forester, founded by George Garvin Brown in 1870. The batch is a selection of 12-year-old barrels, bottled at cask strength with no proofing, at 63.2% ABV (126.4 proof). The nose offers caramel, vanilla, toasted oak and warm baking spice. The palate is full-bodied, with dark caramel, dried fruit, rye spice and firm oak, and the finish is long and warming, with spice and oak.
