Old Forester 150th Anniversary Batch Proof 03/03 is a Kentucky straight bourbon, the third and final batch proof release in the series marking 150 years of Old Forester. George Garvin Brown founded the brand in 1870 as America's first commercially bottled bourbon. It is a selection of barrels bottled at cask strength with no proofing, at 63.4% ABV (126.8 proof), in a 750ml bottle. The nose is caramel, vanilla, toasted oak and warm spice. The palate is full-bodied, with dark caramel, dried fruit, rye spice and oak, and the finish is long and warming.
