Old Forester 1920 Bourbon Whiskey

This is Old Forester 1920, a Kentucky bourbon bottled at over 100 proof. It is described as rich in colour, aroma and flavour, with a strength that never feels forceful. The nose opens with caramel, baking spice, chocolate, cherries, cinnamon and toffee. On the palate come honey, jalapeño, rosemary, crème brûlée and malt, along with fruit that runs from the spicy citrus of grapefruit to prunes and dried apricots. The finish is extremely long, with cherry, cinnamon and caramel.
