Old Forester 86 Proof (175cl, 43%)

Old Forester is a Kentucky bourbon, established in 1870 and said to be the only bourbon brand distilled and promoted continuously by its founding family before, during and after Prohibition. This is the 86 proof bottling, 43% ABV, in a 1.75 litre bottle. The mash bill is at least 51% corn, and the bourbon is aged in new American white oak, which gives a sweeter aroma and flavour. It is full-bodied and mellow, and is used for sipping as well as for an Old Fashioned or a Whiskey Sour.
