Old Forester is a straight Kentucky bourbon from Brown-Forman, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. The brand dates from 1870 and is known as one of the longest continuously bottled bourbons in the United States.
It is matured in white American oak and bottled without added colouring.
The nose offers vanilla, corn and a touch of spice. On the palate come caramel, toasted oak and sweet fruit, followed by a long, warming finish with spicy notes.
