This is Batch 2 of Old Louisville Bourbon, bottled at 48% in a 75cl bottle.
The mash is made up of 75% corn, 21% rye and 4% malted barley.
The nose offers bright fruit, green caramel apple with rye spice, and a heavy vanilla sweetness. The palate opens with spice, with a swirl of sweetness and a burst of freshness, as the heat of the rye settles softly. The finish is zesty and spiced, bringing out a denser, sweet nectar.
