This is an 11 year old Talisker bottled in the Old Malt Cask series by Hunter Laing. It was distilled in 2011, matured in a sherry butt and bottled in 2022 at 50% ABV, with 804 bottles produced. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose is peppery, with peat and smoke. Peat returns on the palate alongside campfire ash and caramel, and the finish is long, with smoke and ash lingering.
