Old Perth Palo Cortado Limited Edition (70cl, 55.8%)

Old Perth Palo Cortado is a Speyside blended malt whisky from Morrison Distillers, released as the 2023 annual limited edition of the Old Perth range. Like the rest of the range, it is matured entirely in sherry casks, here Palo Cortado hogsheads. It is bottled at a cask strength of 55.8%, with natural colour and without chill filtration, in a 70cl bottle. The nose is fragrant, with honeysuckle, vanilla cream and spiced biscuits. On the palate come honeycomb, candied nuts and ripe orchard fruits.
