Old Perth Peaty is a blended malt Scotch whisky from Morrison & Mackay, labelled as the Number 3 Edition. It is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is vibrant, with sharp sea-influenced peat, salty touches and sweet peat smoke, over fresh fruit and mint. The palate starts sweet and fruity before a wave of smoke and peat arrives, with burnt grass, lemon acidity, creamy touches and a hint of malt. The finish is short and fades gently, leaving a smoky echo, maritime peat and a light earthy dryness.
