Old Perth Sherry Cask is a blended malt Scotch whisky bottled by Morrison & Mackay at 43% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It is matured in sherry casks.
The nose is intense, with brandy-soaked Christmas cake, raisins, dates, dried figs and baked apples, alongside milk chocolate, brown sugar and toffee. A light herbal note and toasted barley sit under a hint of dusty wood. The palate is oily and rich, sweet with sultanas, plums and sherry, then balanced by bitter cocoa and clove honey. The finish is dry from European oak, with red berries, dark chocolate, ginger and ground clove.
