Old Pulteney – 12 Year Old (70cl, 40%)

Old Pulteney 12 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 40%. It is matured entirely in air-dried, hand-selected ex-bourbon casks, and it is described as the definitive expression of the Old Pulteney range. It won a Silver medal in the 12 years and under category at the World Whiskies Awards 2018. It is typically described as fruity, with sultanas and pear drops alongside butterscotch, toffee and a soft vanilla fudge texture. The malt comes through clearly, and the finish carries a little of the distillery's briny character.
