Old Pulteney 12 Year Old is a Highland single malt in a 70cl bottle, matured for twelve years entirely in air-dried, hand-selected ex-bourbon casks.
The whisky is linked to the influence of the North Sea, with subtle briny notes over a natural sweetness from American oak. It is a deep amber colour with golden-red highlights.
The nose is medium to high in intensity, with sea air, honey and cream. The palate is smooth and full-bodied, with ripe fruits, gentle spices, citrus, vanilla and honey, and the finish is faintly salty.
