Old Pulteney 15 Year Old is a Highland single malt distilled and matured on the Caithness coast, in a 70cl bottle. It spends its first years in second-fill American oak ex-bourbon casks, followed by a finishing period in first-fill Spanish oak casks.
It is a rich amber colour. The nose brings dried fruit, ripe apple, citrus, honey and vanilla, with subtle chocolate and floral notes. On the palate there are spices, Christmas cake, chocolate and dark toffee, and the long finish keeps a hint of sea air.
