This is a 15 year old single malt Scotch whisky from Old Pulteney, in a 70cl bottle at 42% ABV.
It was matured first in second fill American oak ex-bourbon casks, then in first fill Spanish oak casks.
The nose is intense yet balanced, with rich dried fruit, ripe apples, citrus, honey and creamy vanilla, and a slight chocolate and floral background. The palate brings fragrant spices and Christmas cake, layers of chocolate and dark toffee sweetness, with a hint of salty sea air on the finish.
