Old Pulteney 18 Year Old is a Highland single malt that replaced the 17-year-old in the distillery's core range in 2018. It was matured in a selection of ex-bourbon and Spanish oak casks and is bottled at 46% without colouring or chill filtration.
The nose is intense and warming, with chocolate, vanilla and honey, lifted by spice and a little floral fruit, then citrus and apple. The palate has chocolate, honeyed spice and Christmas cake. The finish is long, with citrus and green apple.
