Old School Malt 45 Year Old Tropical Fruit Signatory Vintage Batch #2 (43.3%)

Old School Malt 45 Year Old Tropical Fruit is a single malt from an unnamed Scottish distillery, chosen and bottled by Signatory Vintage as Batch #2. It matured for 45 years in second-fill Oloroso sherry casks and is bottled at 43.3%, with natural colour and without chill-filtration. Only 860 bottles were filled, each presented in an Ibisco decanter. The nose has sun-ripened mango, caramelised pineapple and a touch of honey. The palate brings sweet vanilla, toasted coconut and a balanced sherry character, and the finish is long, with tropical fruit and a hint of spicy oak.
