Ootori Japanese Blended Whisky 15 Years Old

Ootori is a Japanese blended whisky matured for 15 years. It was created by the Mercian Corporation, which owns the Karuizawa and Kawasaki distilleries, so some whisky from those distilleries may well be part of the blend. This bottling was produced before Japan introduced its whisky labelling standards in February 2021. The flavour is described as well rounded and balanced, with rich wood, white pepper and brown sugar alongside lemon zest, spiced oak and caramel.
