This is a 15 year old Island single malt from Orkney, bottled by Signatory Vintage as 100 Proof Edition #83. It was distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2026 at 57.1% ABV, without added colouring or chill-filtration.
After maturation it was finished in a first fill Pedro Ximénez sherry butt, which adds dark sherry fruit to the heather smoke, honey and maritime spice of the Orkney style.
On the nose there is heather smoke, honey, citrus fruit and dark sweetness. The palate brings dark fruit and sweet sherry alongside citrus, spicy oak and light smoke, and the finish is long with sea-air spice and PX sweetness.
