Overeem – Sherry Cask Tasmanian Single Malt Whisky (70cl, 43%)

Overeem Sherry Cask is a Tasmanian single malt whisky, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It was aged in French oak casks that previously held sherry. On the nose there is dark chocolate, caramel, burnt toffee, rum-soaked raisins, cinnamon, almonds and Christmas cake. The palate is rich and delicate at once, with dark chocolate, shaved almonds, cinnamon, stewed dark fruits, toffee, light spice and maple syrup. The finish is long, with lightly charred almonds and stewed dried fruits.
