Parker's Heritage Barrel Finish 12th Edition is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Heaven Hill, in a 75cl bottle at 55% ABV (110 proof) and non-chill filtered. It belongs to the Parker's Heritage Collection, Heaven Hill's annual release in tribute to Master Distiller Parker Beam.
The bourbon matured for 7 to 8 years in upper-floor rickhouses, then spent four months in barrels that previously held French orange curaçao liqueur.
Caramel, orange zest, baking spice and vanilla show on the nose. The palate brings toffee, dark orange peel and cinnamon, and the finish is long and warming, ending dry.
