Paul John PX Select Cask is an Indian single malt from the Paul John distillery in Goa, finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. It is bottled at 48% ABV (96 proof) in a 750ml bottle.
The whisky was matured in Goa's tropical conditions, and the sherry cask finish adds deep dried-fruit richness.
Raisins, dates and dark chocolate come through on the palate, with toffee and warm spice. The finish is rich, lingering and sherried.
