A 12 year old single malt Irish whiskey from Pearse Lyons Distillery, matured in ex-bourbon barrels from the sister distillery, Town Branch in Lexington, Kentucky.
On the nose it shows orchard fruit, with white peach, apple and spiced pear, leading to herbal and pine notes. Hints of lemon, dried orange and honeysuckle follow.
The palate is silky, and the finish runs medium to long, with warm ginger and clove.
