This is an 18 year old single cask Peat's Beast, a single malt Scotch. It was distilled on 28 March 2007 and matured in an ex-bourbon hogshead until it was bottled on 20 August 2025. The cask gave 342 bottles.
The nose shows elegant butter and caramel with a soft peat aroma in the background. The palate is complex and oily, with more gentle peat, and notes of sugar sweets, powdery sweetness and soft peat. It is not a classic peat bomb, but a harmonious and balanced dram.
