Peerless Small Batch Straight Rye is a straight rye whiskey bottled at barrel proof and never chill-filtered. It is made from a sweet mash, starting each batch with fresh water and grain.
The palate is described as well balanced, with maple, brown sugar and a light citrus sweetness. The finish carries a hint of oak and leaves no burn on the throat.
