Peerless Double Oak is a Kentucky straight rye whiskey, made from grain to bottle in Louisville, Kentucky. It is aged in two new oak casks and bottled at 107 proof.
The nose is robust, with sweet seasoned oak and orange zest. On the palate, warm molasses and earthy cinnamon give way to bright florals and smoked herbs. The finish brings candied smoke, with the bright and dark elements still pulling against each other.
