Penderyn Celt is a Welsh whisky matured in former Laphroaig quarter casks. The fruity, intense Penderyn character is joined by smoky, spicy notes from those casks. It is bottled at 41%, is non-chill-filtered and has natural colour.
Celt belongs to the Welsh Dragon Range, a series of three whiskies from Penderyn.
The nose is fresh and clean with light smoke, toasted bread and orange marmalade. The palate starts sweet before medicinal and smoky notes arrive, and the finish is fresh and slightly bitter.
