Penderyn Celt is a Welsh single malt finished in ex-peated quarter casks. It is bottled at 41% in a 70cl bottle and carries a Kosher certificate.
The nose combines mild peat smoke, a rocky seaside at early morning and warm marmalade on toast. On the palate, a strong sweetness comes first, followed by smoky, slightly medicinal flavours. A slight bitterness closes it, leaving a long, lingering freshness in the mouth.
