Penderyn 'The Headliner' is the ninth bottling in the Icons of Wales series.
It is named after David Lloyd George (1863-1945), the only Welsh Prime Minister, who created the Immature Spirits Act 1915, which required whisky to be matured for a minimum of three years.
The nose offers red berries, strawberries and cream, cranberries, light oak and vanilla. On the palate come rich, sweet dried fruits, salted caramel and floral honey, with a spicy kick of black pepper and a dry tannin edge.
