Penderyn Legend is a Welsh single malt from the distillery that revived whisky-making in the Brecon Beacons after more than a century. It belongs to the Dragon range, first launched in 2015, and is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky matures in ex-bourbon barrels and is then finished in ex-Madeira wine casks.
The nose is fresh apples and citrus with cream fudge and sultanas. The palate is smooth and delicate, sweet with dried fruit and a light bitterness, and the finish is long, with Madeira cake and sultanas.
