Myth is a Welsh single malt from Penderyn, bottled at 41%. It is the distillery's first standard bottling matured entirely in ex-bourbon casks, and it belongs to the Welsh Dragon Range.
Penderyn distils its malts once in a Faraday copper still. The red dragon on the label is the emblem of Wales.
The nose is fresh, with apple, then pear and peach, vanilla and light toffee. The palate is sweet and malty, with stewed peaches, an almost chocolatey note, a touch of bitterness and wood, ending velvety and dry. The finish is medium in length, fruity and dry.
