Penderyn – Myth (70cl, 40%)

Penderyn Myth is a Welsh whisky from the Penderyn distillery, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. The spirit is distilled once in the distillery's own Faraday copper pot still, which produces a high-strength spirit of around 92% ABV. It is matured in a combination of ex-bourbon barrels and ex-Madeira wine casks. The nose is tropical fruit, vanilla ice cream and citrus zest. The palate is smooth and creamy, with sweet fruit, honey, vanilla and light spice over gentle oak. The finish is of medium length, with lingering sweetness and vanilla.
