Penderyn NINE is a nine-year-old Welsh single malt created in partnership with the Welsh football figure Ian Rush. Once fully matured, the whisky received a Tawny Port cask finish. It is bottled at 43%, non-chill filtered and with no added colouring.
The nose has ripe red berries, raisins and dried fruits with delicate vanilla and gentle oak spice. The palate is smooth and creamy, with rich fruit, caramel and figs alongside warming spices. The finish is long and warming, with dried fruit, oak and a gentle dryness.
