A Welsh single malt from Penderyn, first matured in ex-bourbon barrels and then finished in casks that previously held Islay peated whisky. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle and is certified Kosher.
The nose shows sweet, aromatic smoke over vanilla, citrus and green apple. The palate is soft, with gentle peat, fresh fruit and creamy notes. The finish is smooth and medium in length, with light smoke and a little vanilla.
