Penderyn Peated is a peated Welsh whisky, bottled at 46% ABV. It was matured in ex-bourbon casks and ex-Laphroaig casks, and it is released once a year in a run of 5000 bottles.
The colour is amber. The smoke is sweet and aromatic, with a gentle, medium peat character.
On the nose, sweet smoke leads, followed by vanilla, green apples and fresh citrus. Smoke and vanilla carry through the palate into a finish of medium length.
