A Welsh single malt from Penderyn, in a 70cl bottle at 41% abv. Celt is finished in ex-peated quarter casks and carries a Kosher certificate.
The nose offers mild peat smoke, a sense of the rocky seaside early in the morning, and warm marmalade on toast. The palate opens with considerable sweetness before smoky, slightly medicinal flavours follow. A slight bitterness comes in at the finish, leaving a long, lingering freshness in the mouth.
