Pendleton Midnight Canadian Whisky (45%)

This is a full-bodied blended Canadian whisky made with Northern grain, bottled at 45% ABV. A portion of the blend was aged in American brandy barrels and used to finish it. The brandy-cask component adds fruit-forward richness to the oak and spice character of the whisky. The nose is musky leather and warm cinnamon, followed by nutmeg, cloves and a trace of ginger. The palate is well-balanced oak with coffee cake, roasted nuts, caramelised banana and candied fig. The finish is warming, with lingering spices, pecans, walnuts and gentle oak.
