Penelope 'Four Grain' American Bourbon Whiskey (75cl, 40%)

Penelope Four Grain is an American bourbon made from a blend of three bourbon mash bills, which together use four grains: corn, wheat, rye and malted barley. It is aged in American oak barrels and bottled at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle. The nose is balanced, with corn sweetness, caramel, light oak and syrup, plus a few slightly savoury notes. On the palate come fruit, syrup and candied sweetness, a savoury vanilla note and a touch of berry and citrus. The finish brings buttercream icing and corn bread, with lingering vanilla spice.
