Penelope Toasted Barrel Finish is an American straight bourbon whiskey in a 75cl bottle at 50% ABV. After its initial maturation, the bourbon is finished a second time in freshly toasted oak barrels.
The nose is caramel, vanilla and toasted oak, with light spice and a hint of smokiness. The palate is smooth and full-bodied, with rich caramel, vanilla bean, toasted marshmallow and gentle oak spice. The finish is long and warm, with sweet oak and spice.
