Peychaud's Aperitivo is an Italian-style aperitif launched by the Sazerac Company in 2015 and produced in Italy. Inspired by Peychaud's Bitters, it is lighter and more versatile than Campari but more complex than Aperol. It is citrus-driven, with light bitterness, and is suited to spritzes, highballs and low-ABV cocktails. Serve on the rocks with a lime or orange twist, or use it to brighten Negroni variants, Paper Planes and similar drinks.
Tasting Notes
Zesty bitter orange and grapefruit, with gentle herbal undertones and hints of clove.
Tangy and subtly sweet, with citrus sherbet flavours of grapefruit and orange peel, earthy herbal complexity and delicate spice.
