Pinhook 11 Year Vertical Series is a straight bourbon from the 2026 release, bottled unfiltered at cask strength, 57.2% ABV. It is blended from 62 barrels aged at Castle & Key Distillery in Kentucky, using whiskey distilled at MGP from a mash bill of 75% corn, 20.5% rye and 4.5% malted barley.
It is part of a 13-year series that follows one group of about 1,350 barrels from four to sixteen years old. Each year Pinhook blends a portion to show how the bourbon develops, and this bottling reaches 11 years.
The nose is burnt orange peel, molasses, white pepper and cedar. On the palate come ripe strawberry, crème brûlée, toasted almond and candied cinnamon, and the finish is long and warming, with cedar and seasoned oak.
