Pinhook 'Bourbon War' Vertical Series 7 Year Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey (75cl, 57.5%)

Pinhook Bourbon War 7 Year Old is a Kentucky straight bourbon in a 750ml bottle, bottled at 115 proof. It comes from the Bourbon Vertical Series, which follows a group of 1,350 MGP bourbon barrels as they age from four to twelve years, with a selection blended and proofed each year. The series began with a 4 year old release in 2019. The mash bill is 75% corn, 20.5% rye and 4.5% malted barley. Each Pinhook release is dedicated to a young thoroughbred. The nose is fresh baked raisin bread, dark dried fruit, brown butter and burnt sugar. The palate is rich and coating, with spiced ginger cookie, dried fig, eucalyptus and molasses.
