A red wine from Friuli Venezia Giulia, made from Pinot Nero by Cantina Puiatti. Hand-harvested grapes ferment at controlled temperature, with ageing partly in steel and partly in wood. It is bright ruby red, with ripe red fruit such as cherry and raspberry and delicate spicy notes. The palate is harmonious and balanced, with good acidity and soft tannins. Serve with white meats, cured meats or medium cheeses.
