Plantation Belize 2015 Cherry Liqueur Finish XO is a single cask rum from Belize, distilled from molasses by Travellers Liquors Limited. It was aged for six years in American bourbon barrels, then finished for one year in Ferrand casks and one year in cherry liqueur casks. The rum is bottled at 44.6% vol in a 700 ml bottle.
On the nose it shows spice cake with sour cherries, molasses, chocolate, pipe tobacco, coconut, cinnamon, pepper, vanilla, almond and honey. The palate brings spice cake, chocolate, fruity sweetness, preserved cherries, green apple, cherry, plum and tobacco.
