An aged rum from Rum Co. of Fiji, distilled from molasses in a column still and bottled at 51.6% ABV in a 700 ml bottle.
It was aged for seven years in American bourbon barrels in the country of origin, then finished for four years in Ferrand casks and one year in Marsala casks. The cask number is 4, with esters 447, VC 101 and dosage 0.
The nose has hazelnut, hints of passion fruit, chocolate-covered dried fruit and a touch of brewed coffee. The palate shows pronounced fruit sweetness, chocolate-covered dried fruit, burnt sugar and a full, round character.
