A single cask aged rum from Fiji, distilled by Rum Co. of Fiji from molasses using a column still. It matured for seven years in American bourbon casks, then four years in Ferrand casks and one year in Marsala casks. The nose has hazelnut, hints of passion fruit, chocolate-covered dried fruit and a touch of brewed coffee. The palate is marked by pronounced fruit sweetness, chocolate-covered dried fruit, burnt sugar, full and round.
