A 15-year-old single cask rum from Belize, distilled in 2008 at Travellers Liquors Limited.
It is made from molasses, fermented for three to four days and distilled on a multi-column still. It spent 13 years in American bourbon casks in Belize City and two years in Ferrand casks in Javrezac. The edition is limited to 19 casks.
The nose is intense, with old bourbon, spicy cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg, roasted almonds, cocoa, honey and banana. The palate is spicy and fruity, with citrus fruits, pear, caramel, coconut, pepper, cloves, liquorice and tobacco. The finish is long and intense, with dried fruits, cherry, vanilla, coffee and gentle vegetal notes.
