Planteray Fiji 2017 2025 Pauillac Cask XO Rum (70cl, 48.3%)

A single cask aged rum from the Rum Co. of Fiji, distilled in 2017 and bottled at 48.3% ABV in a 700 ml bottle. It is made from molasses and matured for three years in bourbon casks, one year and four months in Ferrand casks, and three years and six months in a Pauillac wine cask. The cask is numbered 02/20, with esters of 49 and dosage of 0 g. The nose brings dried fruit, overripe pineapple, citrus notes and wood; the palate is mild with light fruit sweetness, candied fruit and tannin; the finish is spicy and herb-fruity.
