A 100% straight corn whiskey from McCormick Distilling Co. in Weston, Missouri, a distillery founded in 1856. It is bottled at 40% ABV in a traditional 70cl stoneware jug, modelled on the moonshine jugs used for home-distilled whiskey in the 19th and early 20th centuries. The nose is sweet corn, vanilla and light caramel. The palate is smooth and mellow, with honey and a soft grain flavour, and the finish runs short to medium.
