Pōkeno – 'Origin' New Zealand Single Malt Whisky (70cl, 43%)

Pōkeno Origin is a New Zealand single malt, bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It belongs to the distillery's core range and is fully matured in first-fill bourbon barrels. The distillery sits in a warm, humid valley among volcanic hills and draws on natural spring water. Its barley comes from three family-owned farms on the South Island. The nose brings honey, toasted vanilla bean and butterscotch, with hints of citrus and grapefruit. The palate is rich and creamy, with toffee and caramelised banana, and the finish is sweet and lingering.
