Pōkeno – 'Revelation' New Zealand Single Malt Whisky (70cl, 43%)

Pōkeno 'Revelation' is a New Zealand single malt from the distillery's core range, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. The distillery uses barley from three family-owned farms on the South Island. It is matured in first-fill bourbon and New Zealand red wine barrels. Parcels that have fully matured in each type of cask are blended, then returned to cask to marry further. The nose is of soft red summer fruits, mango, freshly cut hay and strawberry bonbons. The palate is sweet and smooth, with lychee and sherbet. The finish is lingering.
